Nations United: Urgent Solutions for Urgent Times

October 21, 2021
START TIME: 6:30 pm  |  END TIME: 7:30 pm

In 2021, as we heal from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are inspired to think creatively and collectively about how to help everyone recover better, how to build resilience, and how to transform our world into one that is more equal, more just, equitable, inclusive, sustainable, and healthier.  This film sets out what must be done to tackle the world’s biggest issues, from COVID-19 to poverty, inequality, gender discrimination, climate change, justice and human rights. The film was released on the UN’s 75th anniversary and also celebrates the 5th anniversary of the Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
