Join us for an enlightening discussion at the "What is TPS?" forum on December 13 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Clinton Community College 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton. Temporary Protected Status (TPS) has a significant impact on individuals seeking refuge from conflict-ridden countries like Ukraine, Somalia, and Central American regions.

This forum, sponsored by the Franciscan Peace Center and Living Peace 365, will feature speakers Jessica Malott, an immigration attorney, and Angela Boelens, President of IA NICE. Gain insights into TPS, a program established by the U.S. Congress in 1990, allowing migrants from unsafe homelands the right to live and work in the United States temporarily. Learn about the challenges and opportunities it presents and how it influences the lives of those seeking shelter.

Registration is encouraged but not mandatory—reach out to Marsha Thrall at mthrall@clintonfranciscans.com.
