Sister Marilyn Huegerich

Vice President

Sister Marilyn, a native of Varina, Iowa, entered the Sisters of St. Francis, Clinton, Iowa, in 1959. She has master’s degrees in American history from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and economics education from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. Additionally, she has an ecclesial lay ministry certificate from the Diocese of Lafayette, Indiana.

 

Most of her ministries were in education, both as principal and teacher of junior high and high school students. Sister Marilyn ministered eight years as President of the congregation, twelve years as Councilor, and has served as Vice President since being elected in 2016.
