Volunteer and outreach opportunities with the Sisters of St. Francis provide individuals the ability to share their talents, time, and service by standing with marginalized persons, caring for creation, and building community.
We invite you to join us as a volunteer in the following programs and services:
Seasonal volunteers are needed at The Canticle, home of the Sisters of St. Francis, to assist with yard work, gardening, and tending flower beds. Please call the Administrative Office at 563-242-7611 if interested.
Share Our Sandwiches
Help feed individuals experiencing food insecurity through the Share Our Sandwiches program, sponsored by the Franciscan Peace Center and held each Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers assist with preparing and distributing sack lunches and other personal hygiene items.
