Communications Assistant (Full-Time) 

The Communications Assistant, under the direction of the Director of Communications and Development, facilitates the work of the Sisters of St. Francis Administrative Offices. This is a full-time position with daytime office hours. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing tasks such as greeting visitors, routing phone calls, processing mail, filing, assisting with technology; helping communicate the mission and values of the congregation through all communication channels (internal newsletter, brochures, flyers, emails, presentations, ads, programs, worship aids); and collaborating to update and catalog information and media. Cook/Food Service Worker (Supplemental)

The supplemental cook/food service worker prepares meals for the residents and guests of The Canticle in Clinton, Iowa, and maintains a clean work environment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for residents; preparing lists of food and other supplies; cleaning work area, including appliances, and assigned areas after each meal; preparing and/or supervising preparation of baked goods, salads, and other cold foods; assisting with special events; assisting in putting food on the serving table; assisting residents with food trays; washing utensils and dishes; and performing other related functions.
