The Sisters of St. Francis, Clinton, Iowa Endowment was established in 2016 to provide a lasting source of support for the mission. The Endowment is currently being used to help alleviate homelessness in Clinton, Iowa, and to provide financial assistance to those working with individuals living in poverty or at the risk of being homeless.

To help raise funds for the Endowment, we are participating in Great Give Day, a 24-hour giving event organized by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque on Wednesday, May 18. On Great Give Day, donation dollars go even further thanks to event sponsors who have provided prizes and matching gifts throughout the day.

How can you help?

• Schedule a gift between May 16 and May 18.

• Donate on May 18 at www.greatgiveday.org/clintonfranciscans.

• Spread the word! Tell your family and friends. Post on social media using the hashtag #GreatGiveDay to reach more people.

Iowa residents, when you make a gift of $50 or more to our Endowment, your gift costs less thanks to the generous Endow Iowa 25% state tax credit. For example: After the state tax credit and federal deduction, a $1,000 gift could cost an individual or couple in the 35% tax bracket just $487.50. Returns like that are hard to find!
