November 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. (ET)
Shane Claiborne is a prominent speaker, activist, and best-selling author. Shane is a champion for grace which has led him to jail advocating for the homeless, and to places like Iraq and Afghanistan to stand against war. Now grace fuels his passion to end the death penalty and help stop gun violence.
Shane will be joined by two women religious: Sr. Patricia Millen, OSF, will speak about the process of her congregation, the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, in taking a corporate stance on gun violence. Sr. Annette McDermott, SSJ, will share on the outreach of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield to the people of Springfield after a recent episode of gun violence.
