Planned giving, also known as an estate gift, provides for the long-term future of the Sisters of St. Francis while supporting our mission of living and promoting active nonviolence and peacemaking.

When naming our congregation as beneficiary of a bequest, insurance policy, retirement plan, or trust, you should inform the attorney preparing your legal documents that the corporate title is “Sisters of St. Francis, Clinton, Iowa.” We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. As with any planned gift, please consult with your attorney and/or tax advisor before making any decision.

Heritage Club

Although it is not necessary to advise us of a planned gift, we welcome the opportunity to personally thank and recognize our donors. The Heritage Club recognizes those generous persons who have blessed us by including the Sisters of St. Francis, Clinton, Iowa, in their estate.

Public recognition of Heritage Club members is encouraged as it may inspire others to consider a gift. Requests of anonymity will be honored.
